Overview
The content of this site is covered under a Commons license which provides for flexibility in the use of the information contained herein.
The license provides that you are free:
- to copy, distribute, display, and perform the site contents
- to make works derivative of the contents
- to make commercial use of the contents
However, you are restricted in the following ways:
- You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor.
- If you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work only under a license identical to this one.
The first restriction requires explanation of what constitutes "attribution", which is explained [#Attribution|below]. In all cases, the text of the Creative Commons license is the licensing agreement; the text below is merely discussion of that licensing agreement, and does not constitute a part of the license. If you are a lawyer, ignore this page, and refer to the license itself; this discussion is intended to be helpful explanation for non-legal people.
Attribution
If you publish work which is derivative of the content of this site, then you must include with any distributed copy of that work the following text, either in physical printed form, or electronically, in a manner which is easily accessible by the consumer of your derivative product. That would typically mean in a README file or similar included with electronically distributed derivatives, in a product manual if one comes with your product, etc.
This product is derived, at least in part, from work published on the Gumstix™ public wiki, located at http://docwiki.gumstix.org.
