As of 2010, all Gumstix customers should be using Gumstix OpenEmbedded, not Buildroot.

For legacy customers still requiring buildroot:

The binary images of the root filesystem and u-boot bootloader which ship on gumstix computers and motherboards are available at SourceForge. If you do not wish to build your own root_fs, you can just grab these and flash the filesystem image.
