General
| Both the gumstix basix motherboard and the gumstix connex motherboards have tiny 20mm x 80mm x 6.3mm dimensions that allow greater design flexibility for wireless and embedded products. These gumstix motherboards offer high performance and low power consumption with Intel XScale(tm) processors. |

Special Notes
connex connectivity
The gumstix connex motherboard has two connectors: a 60-pin connector and a 92-pin connector.
The 60-pin connector accepts the same expansion boards as those accepted by the 60-pin connector of the basix motherboard.
The 92-pin connector enables ethernet and compact flash expansion boards for 10/100 ethernet, cf storage and WiFi applications via expansion boards such as the netCF, wifistix and more.
